Smriti Banthia is a Cardiologist and a Cardiac Electrophysiologist board certified in Cardiovascular Disease (Cardiology), Cardiac Electrophysiology, and Internal Medicine. She has been practicing over 18 years and joined Heart Rhythm Consultants in 2021 after practicing in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Her top areas of interest are Ablation of Atrial fibrillation, SVT, and Ventricular Tachycardia. She also specializes in all devices including septal pacing and leadless pacing. With a background in engineering, she takes a special interest in incorporating technology in medicine to make things more convenient for the patient. Dr. Banthia is joining our practice previously Director of Electrophysiology at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, IN. Dr. Banthia was born and raised in the Midwest and studied electrical engineering at MIT and residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, Harvard, and fellowship at Northwestern University. She enjoys being with her family and enjoys yoga, vegan eating, walking, and the Florida sunshine,
